Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 27/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the Great Australian Bight is extending a strengthening ridge across Victoria and New South Wales. The high is expected to become a dominant synoptic feature over the southeastern Australia during the next few days, moving only slowly eastward and entering the southwestern Tasman on Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayIsolated showers on the central and northern coastal fringe. Partly cloudy over ranges and central inland. Mostly clear elsewhere. South to southwest winds, fresh on the coast at times.Monday 28 MayIsolated showers about the central and northern coasts. Early fog areas in the east and south. Frost patches about the tablelands. Otherwise mostly sunny. Southwest to southeast winds, fresh near the coast at times.Tuesday 29 MayIsolated showers about the central and northern coasts. Morning fog in the south and east. Frost patches in the southeast, mainly on the ranges. Mostly sunny elsewhere. South to southeast winds.Wednesday 30 MayIsolated showers about the central and northern coasts, and adjacent ranges in the north. Partly cloudy the remainder. East to southeast winds.Thursday 31 MayIsolated showers over the coast and adjacent ranges in the north. Chance of showers in the far northwest. Partly cloudy otherwise.
