MELBOURNE - May 27/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high pressure system is positioned south of the Bight and will move slowly southeastward to be centred over the southeast of the continent on Thursday. Forecast for the rest of SundayIsolated showers possible about the Lower South East coast. Cool with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Monday 28 MayIsolated light showers near southern coasts and ranges. Cold at first with isolated frost about eastern districts, then cool with light to moderate southwest to southeast winds.Tuesday 29 MayIsolated showers near southern coasts. Cold at first with isolated frost mainly in the north, then cool with light to moderate south to southeasterly winds.Wednesday 30 MayIsolated showers near southern coasts clearing in the afternoon. Cold at first with isolated frost mainly on and east of the Flinders Ranges, then cool with light to moderate easterly winds.Thursday 31 MayIsolated showers developing in the north of the Northeast Pastoral. Cool with light to moderate east to northeasterly winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Sunday afternoon until midnight Thursday are expected to be 5 to 10 mm in the northeast, and less than 3 mm elsewhere.Friday until SundayIsolated showers gradually extending south and westwards.
