Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 26/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system will become established south of the Bight today and will then move slowly southeastward to be centred over the southeast of the continent on Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayIsolated showers about the southern agricultural area and near remaining coasts, contracting to southern coasts and ranges by evening. Isolated morning drizzle about the pastoral and Flinders districts. Areas of morning fog. Generally cool with mainly moderate southwest to southeast winds.Monday 28 MayIsolated showers near southern coasts and ranges. Cold at first with isolated frost about eastern districts, then cool with light to moderate southwest to southeast winds.Tuesday 29 MayIsolated showers near southern coasts. Cold at first with isolated frost mainly about eastern districts, then cool with light to moderate south to southeasterly winds.Wednesday 30 May
Isolated showers near southern coasts clearing late afternoon. Cold at first with isolated frost mainly about eastern districts, then cool with light to moderate southeast to easterly winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Sunday morning until midnight Wednesday are expected to be less than 2 mm, but local falls of 2 to 5 mm are possible about southern coasts and ranges.
Thursday until SaturdayIsolated showers developing in the north of the Northeast Pastoral on Thursday gradually extending over the remainder of the Northeast Pastoral, and the Flinders and Riverland districts by Saturday. Cool days with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Sunday.Product IDS10033
