Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 19/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high 1029 hPa just south of Kangaroo Island will move eastward to be centred over the Tasman Sea late Monday. A significant cold front will move across the State during Wednesday and Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayPossible isolated showers about southern coasts. Early frost patches about and east of the ranges. Early fog patches inland. Cool to mild with light winds.Monday 21 MayPossible isolated showers about southern coasts. Early frost patches about and east of the Flinders Ranges. Early fog patches. Cool to mild with light winds, tending moderate northwesterly about southern coasts.Tuesday 22 MayIsolated showers about southern districts. Early frost patches on and east of the Flinders Ranges. Mild with moderate to fresh northwest winds.Wednesday 23 May
Scattered showers and the chance of isolated thunderstorms gradually extending over the agricultural area and south of the pastoral districts from the west and south. Mild with moderate northwest winds, freshening about southern coasts, ahead of a cold fresh southwesterly change extending from the west and south.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Sunday morning until midnight Wednesday are expected to be 5 to 15 mm over southern coasts, the Mount Lofty Ranges and southeast districts, 2 to 5 mm over remaining agricultural areas and up to 2 mm over the southern pastorals.
Thursday until SaturdayScattered showers and the chance of isolated thunderstorms over central and eastern districts, easing to isolated showers over agricultural area and West Coast district, contracting to the coasts on Saturday. Cool to cold with moderate to fresh southerly winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Sunday.Product IDS10033
