Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 18/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure ridge extends across northern New South Wales, maintaining fine and stable conditions through most districts. A trough passing over the south today may result in isolated showers near the Victorian border, although no significant totals are expected. Isolated showers will shift to central and northern parts of the coast during Sunday and Monday as a ridge again strengthens across the south. A cold front is forecast to move into the west of the state late next week, bringing wet and windy conditions to most districts.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayEarly frosts about the tablelands, and morning fog patches in the east. The chance of an afternoon shower or two in the far southeast. Otherwise fine and partly cloudy. Light and variable winds, tending southerly across the south during the day.Sunday 20 MayEarly frosts about the tablelands, and morning fog patches in the east. Scattered showers along the central and northern coasts and adjacent slopes. Fine remainder. Generally light southerly winds.Monday 21 MayEarly frosts about the tablelands, and morning fog patches in the east. Isolated showers in the northeast, most likely on the far northern coast and adjacent ranges. Otherwise fine. Generally light winds.Tuesday 22 MayEarly frosts about the tablelands, and morning fog patches in the east. Isolated showers in the northeast, most likely on the far northern coast and adjacent ranges. Otherwise fine.
