Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 13/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high south of the Bight and a deep low south-southeast of Tasmania will both move slowly eastwards over the next few days. A trough will move over western parts of the state on Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area, contracting to the southern coasts and ranges during the evening. Light to moderate south to southeast winds, fresh near southern coasts.Monday 14 MayIsolated morning showers about southern coasts and ranges contracting to the Lower South east coast in the evening. Morning frost and fog patches. Cool to mild, grading to warm in the far west. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds.Tuesday 15 MayFine and partly cloudy apart from the chance of isolated showers about the Lower South East coast and Kangaroo Island. Morning frost over the ranges and eastern districts. Mild to warm in the west, cool to mild elsewhere with light to moderate northeast to northwest winds, freshening in the west.Wednesday 16 MayIsolated showers developing during the morning in the far west extending to west of about Kingscote to Ceduna during evening. Areas of morning frost on and east of the ranges. Mild to warm in the west with moderate to fresh northerly winds. Cool to mild elsewhere with light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds.Thursday 17 MayIsolated showers extending to southwest of about Whyalla to Renmark and mostly clearing from the west. Cool to mild grading to mild to warm in the west with mainly light to moderate northerly winds ahead of a moderate southerly change in the west. Cumulative rainfall totals from Sunday until midnight Wednesday are expected to be up to 2 mm over the agricultural area, increasing to 2 to 5 mm about the West Coast, Lower Eyre and Kangaroo Island.Friday until SundayIsolated showers about the southern agricultural areas and West Coast district easing to possible showers on Sunday. Cool to mild with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Monday.Product IDS10033
