MELBOURNE - May 12/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high 1029 hPa over the Bight and a deep low south-southeast of Tasmania will both move slowly eastwards over the next few days. Forecast for the rest of SaturdayIsolated showers about southern coasts and ranges. Light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds, fresh near southern coasts.Sunday 13 MayIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area. Early fog patches over the agricultural area and early frost on and east of the Flinders and northern Mt Lofty Ranges. Cool with moderate southwest to southeast winds, fresh near southern coasts.Monday 14 MayIsolated morning showers about southern coasts and ranges. Morning frost and fog patches. Cool to mild, grading to warm in the far west. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds.Tuesday 15 MayFine and partly cloudy apart from the chance of isolated showers about the Lower South East coast. Morning frost over the ranges and eastern districts. Mild to warm with light to moderate northeast to northwest winds, freshening in the west.Wednesday 16 MayIsolated showers developing west of about Kingscote to Ceduna during the day, otherwise fine. Cumulative rainfall totals from Saturday morning until midnight Wednesday are expected to up to 2 mm over the agricultural area, increasing to 2 to 5 mm about southern coasts and ranges.Thursday until SaturdayIsolated showers extending to southwest of Whyalla to Renmark on Thursday then contracting to southern agricultural areas and the West Coast district on Friday.
