Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 11/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A cold front near a line Adelaide to Naracoorte at 3 am Friday will move across the remainder of the agricultural area during Friday morning. A high pressure system will become established over the Bight by Friday evening and will then move very slowly eastward during the next few days.
Forecast for the rest of FridayIsolated showers and patchy morning fog over the agricultural area and far south of the pastoral districts. Cool with moderate southwest to southeasterly winds, fresh to strong about southern coasts.Saturday 12 MayIsolated showers about the agricultural area and West Coast district. Early frost on and east of the Flinders Ranges. Cool with moderate southwest to southeasterly winds, fresh near southern coasts, gradually moderating.Sunday 13 MayIsolated showers over the Central, South East and Murray districts. Early fog patches over the northern agricultural area and early frost on and east of the Flinders Ranges. Cool with moderate southwest to southeast winds, fresh near southern coasts.Monday 14 May
Chance of isolated morning showers about southern coasts and ranges. Mild to warm with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Friday morning until midnight Monday are expected to be generally less than 2 mm, reaching 2 to 5 mm about southern coasts and ranges and 5 to 10 mm over the Lower South East coast.
Tuesday until ThursdayCloudy with the chance of isolated showers over the southern agricultural area and the west coast. Warm with northeast to northwest winds, turning milder southerly about the west coast.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Friday.Product IDS10033
