MELBOURNE - May 10/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A cold front will move across southern coasts overnight and the agricultural area Friday morning. A high will ridge over the Bight Friday evening and then move very slowly eastwards for the next few days. Forecast for the rest of ThursdayScattered showers and possible isolated thunderstorms extending over southern coastal districts. Generally mild with light to moderate northwest to southwest winds, fresh about southern coasts.Friday 11 MayIsolated showers over the agricultural area and far south of the pastoral districts, scattered about the southern coastal districts during the early morning. Early fogs in the west and over the northern agricultural area. Cool with moderate southwest to southeasterly winds, fresh to strong about southern coasts.Saturday 12 MayIsolated showers about the agricultural area and West Coast district. Early frosts on and east of the Flinders Ranges. Cool with moderate southwest to southeasterly winds, fresh near southern coasts, gradually moderating.Sunday 13 MayIsolated showers over the Central, South East and Murray districts. Early fog patches over the northern agricultural area and early frosts on and east of the Flinders Ranges. Cool with moderate southwest to southeast winds, fresh near southern coasts.Monday 14 May Chance of isolated morning showers about southern coasts and ranges. Mild to warm with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Thursday evening until midnight Monday are expected to be generally less than 2 mm, reaching 2 to 5 mm about southern coasts and ranges and 5 to 10 mm over the Lower South East coast. Tuesday until ThursdayCloudy with the chance of isolated showers over the southern agricultural area and the west coast.
