Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 7/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high over New South Wales will weaken as it moves eastwards over the next few days. A series of cold fronts linked to a deep low well south of Western Australia will move across southern parts of the State during the week.
Forecast for the rest of MondayFine. Mostly clear skies. Mild to warm with moderate to fresh northerly winds turning westerly over western and southern parts of the State during the evening then easing.Tuesday 8 MayIsolated morning fogs in the south. Partly cloudy with the chance of isolated showers over southern coastal areas. Warm to hot with moderate to fresh north to northwesterly winds, shifting milder west to southwesterly over western areas during the day.Wednesday 9 MayIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area, with the chance of thunderstorms about southern coasts. The chance of morning fogs in the West Coast district. Milder with moderate to fresh westerly winds shifting southwesterly and moderating from the west.Thursday 10 May
Fine day. Isolated showers and possible thunderstorms developing about southern coasts during the late evening. Generally mild with light winds turning moderate to fresh northwesterly in the south later in the day.
Friday 11 May
Isolated showers extending to southern Pastoral districts, increasing to scattered showers over the southern agricultural areas. Cool to cold with moderate to fresh southwesterly winds extending throughout.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Monday afternoon until midnight Friday are expected to be generally less than 2 mm with local falls of 2 to 10 mm about southern coasts and ranges, mostly occurring on Friday.
Saturday until MondayShowers over agricultural areas and south Pastoral districts contracting southwards and easing. Cool with fresh southwest to southerly winds gradually moderating.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Tuesday.Product IDS10033
