MELBOURNE - May 7/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high over western New South Wales will weaken as it moves eastwards over the next few days. A series of cold fronts linked to a deep low well south of Western Australia will move across southern parts of the State during the week. Forecast for the rest of MondayThe chance of isolated showers over the southern agricultural area. Mild to warm with moderate to fresh northerly winds turning westerly over western and southern parts of the State during the afternoon and evening then easing.Tuesday 8 MayFine apart from the chance of isolated showers over southern coastal areas. Mild to warm with moderate northerly winds, shifting northwest to southwesterly over western and central areas during the day.Wednesday 9 MayIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area, with the chance of thunderstorms about southern coasts. Mild with light to moderate westerly winds shifting southwesterly from the west.Thursday 10 May Fine apart from isolated showers developing about southern and western coastal areas. Generally mild with light winds turning moderate to fresh northwesterly in the south later in the day. Cumulative rainfall totals from Monday until midnight Thursday are expected to be generally less than 2 mm with local falls of 2 to 10 mm about southern coasts and ranges. Friday until SundayIsolated showers extending over Northern Agricultural Areas, increasing to scattered showers over the Southern Agricultural Areas. Showers easing later in the period.
