Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 4/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system west of Tasmania extends a ridge to northern New South Wales and a low pressure trough with several lows emended in it lies over the western Tasman Sea. During Saturday and Sunday the high will move north and one of the lows will deepen over the southwestern Tasman Sea before moving to the south-southeast during Monday. A cold front is expected to move through the state on Friday a s the high moves offshore.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayThe chance of showers on the central coast. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Southwest to southeast winds.Sunday 6 MayThe chance of showers on the far south coast. Mainly sunny elsewhere. South to southwest winds.Monday 7 MayChance of showers in the far southwest and far south coast. Mainly sunny elsewhere. West to northwest winds.Tuesday 8 MayChance showers in the far southeastern inland. Partly cloudy elsewhere.
