MELBOURNE - May 2/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high 1036 hPa south of the Bight is expected to weaken and move slowly southeastwards during the next few days. Forecast for the rest of WednesdayIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area and west coast. Cool with moderate to fresh south to southeast winds.Thursday 3 MayIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area, tending scattered over the Lower South East. Isolated early showers about the far west coast. Cold at first with patchy frost on and east of the Flinders Ranges, then a cool to mild day. Light to moderate southwest to southeast winds.Friday 4 May Isolated showers over the southern agricultural area, contracting to southern coasts and ranges in the evening. Isolated early fog patches over the agricultural area and far south of the Pastorals. Cold early, with patchy frost on and east of the Flinders Ranges and in the far west, then a mild day. Light to moderate southwest to southeast winds, tending northeast in the west. Saturday 5 May Fine apart from the chance of isolated showers about southern coast and ranges. Isolated early fog patches over the agricultural area. Cold early, with patchy frost on and east of the Flinders Ranges, then a mild day. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds. Sunday 6 May Fine apart from the chance of isolated showers about far western and southern coasts. Isolated early fog patches in the far west and southeast. Mild to warm with light to moderate northeast to northwest winds, turning southwest to southeast in the west. Cumulative rainfall totals from Wednesday afternoon until midnight Sunday are expected to be up to 2 mm over the southern agricultural area and far west coast, increasing to 2 to 5 mm over southern coasts and ranges and 5 to 10 mm over the Lower South East.
