Weather Situation A high pressure system will drift eastwards into the Tasman Sea tonight. A cold front will enter southwest Victoria Tuesday afternoon, reaching central districts Tuesday night and will clear eastern Victoria Wednesday. A low pressure system is expected to form near Tasmania during Thursday, moving slowly near Tasmania during Friday. Forecast for the rest of MondayFine. High cloud increasing from the west. Light to moderate northerly winds.Tuesday 1 MayScattered showers developing in the southwest during the afternoon, extending to central districts during the evening and at night. Remaining dry over the east. Mild with moderate to fresh north to northwest winds, ahead of a cooler southwest change extending from the west.Fire Danger - High in the west.Wednesday 2 MayAreas of rain over central districts contracting to eastern areas during the morning with only isolated showers to follow in the south. Cool to mild with moderate to locally fresh southwesterly winds.Thursday 3 MayIsolated showers on and south of the ranges, scattered near the coast. Isolated thunderstorms about the ranges in the afternoon. Cool with moderate southwesterly winds.Friday 4 MayScattered showers in the south, becoming isolated north of the ranges.
