Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 26/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high 1027 hPa over the Bight will remain near stationary today, before moving eastwards on the weekend to be centred over the Tasman Sea on Monday. A cold front will move across the southeast of the State on Saturday.
Forecast for the rest of FridayIsolated showers and morning fog patches about the west coast, agricultural area and far south of the Pastoral districts. Cool to mild with light to moderate southwest to southeast winds tending west to southwest about southern coasts.Saturday 28 AprilIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area. Morning fog patches in the south. Cool to mild with light to moderate southwest to southeast winds, tending moderate to fresh west to southwest about southern coasts.Sunday 29 AprilPossible isolated morning showers about southern coasts. Morning fog patches in the south. Mild to warm with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds.Monday 30 AprilA fine morning apart from early fog patches in the south. Isolated showers developing about the far west during the day and extending over the West Coast district by evening. Mild to warm with light to moderate northerly winds, freshening ahead of a milder southwest change in the far west during the evening. Cumulative rainfall totals from Friday morning until midnight Monday are expected to be 1 to 3 mm over the southern agricultural area, with less than 1 mm over the northern agricultural area.Tuesday until ThursdayIsolated showers extending to south of Woomera to Broken Hill on Tuesday then easing and contracting to the southern agricultural area during Wednesday and Thursday. Cool to mild with moderate to fresh southwesterly winds extending throughout on Tuesday then easing and becoming southwest to southeast later in the forecast period.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Friday.Product IDS10033
