MELBOURNE - Apr 26/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A cold front is crossing the southern Tasman Sea and a slow-moving high pressure system south of the Bight is extending a ridge behind the front to northeastern New South Wales. The high will move over the Tasman Sea on Monday and then it will move slowly towards New Zealand maintaining the ridge to the north coast. Another cold front is expected to to cross the state during Tuesday. Forecast for the rest of ThursdayMostly clear. South to southwesterly winds.Friday 27 AprilThe chance of showers on the north coast. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Early frosts about the tablelands. Southwest to southeasterly winds.Saturday 28 AprilIsolated showers in the northeast. Mostly sunny elsewhere.
