Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 25/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A deep low off the South Coast is moving slowly away to the southeast, while a ridge of high pressure extends into most of the state from a high over the Bight. As the ridge strengthens from the west and the low weakens and heads further southeast, fine and stable conditions will be restored for the bulk of the state through to the weekend.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayFine apart from the chance of showers in the far southeast, mostly in the morning. Early frosts about the tablelands. Partly cloudy in the south, and sunny in the north. South to southwesterly winds.Friday 27 AprilFine apart from the chance of showers in the far southeast, and about the northern half of the coast. Early frosts about the tablelands. Mostly light south to southwesterly winds, with afternoon sea breezes developing near the coast.Saturday 28 AprilFine apart from the chance of showers in the far northeast, and about western slopes of the southern ranges. Generally light and variable winds, becoming southwest to northwesterly across the south.Sunday 29 AprilThe chance of isolated showers along the coast and on the far northern and southern ranges. Fine elsewhere. Southwest to southeasterly winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EST Thursday.Product IDN10031
