Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 24/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low over eastern Bass Strait will continue to move southeastwards. A high 1028 hPa will remain stationary over the Bight region through to the weekend.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayIsolated showers over the agricultural area, west coast and far south of the Pastorals, contracting to southern coasts by evening. Early morning fog patches over the Flinders and Mid North districts. Cool to mild with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Thursday 26 AprilIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area and west coast. Cool to mild with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Friday 27 AprilIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area. Cool to mild with light to moderate southwest to southeast winds tending west to southwest about southern coasts.Saturday 28 April
Isolated showers over the southern agricultural area. Cool to mild with light to moderate southwest to southeast winds, tending moderate to fresh west to southwest about southern coasts.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Wednesday morning until midnight Saturday are expected to be 2 to 5 mm over the southern agricultural area. Less than 2 mm elsewhere.
Sunday until TuesdayPossible isolated showers about southern coasts Sunday morning then fine. Becoming mild to warm throughout from Monday with winds turning northeast to northwesterly.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Wednesday.Product IDS10033
