Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 23/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low over Tasmania will continue to move southeastwards today. A high will move in from the west to be centred over the Bight on Wednesday, where it will stay through to the weekend..
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayScattered showers and isolated thunderstorms over the southeast easing to isolated showers by late morning. Isolated light showers over the remaining agricultural area and West Coast. Cool to cold in the south, milder further north. Mainly moderate southwest to southeast winds, fresh to strong at first in the South East coast this morning.Wednesday 25 AprilIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area and western coasts. Cool to mild with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Thursday 26 AprilIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area and western coasts. Cool to mild with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Friday 27 April
Isolated showers over the southern agricultural area. Mild with light to moderate southwest to southeast winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Tuesday morning until midnight Friday are expected to be a further 2 to 10 mm over the southern agricultural area, and less than 2 mm elsewhere.
Saturday until MondayIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area contracting southwards and clearing by midday Sunday. Fine on Monday. Mild with light to moderate southwest to southeast winds, turning southeast to northeast on Sunday and northeast to north on Monday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Tuesday.Product IDS10033
