Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 16/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high centred over Tasmania extends a ridge over South Australia through this week. A trough will move into the far west of the State on Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of MondayPatchy morning fog over the agricultural area and West Coast district. A fine and mostly sunny day. Mild near southern coasts, warm elsewhere. Light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds and mainly moderate afternoon sea breezes.Tuesday 17 AprilEarly morning fog patches over the southern agricultural area. A fine and mostly sunny day. Warm to hot with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds and afternoon sea breezes.Wednesday 18 AprilFine and mostly sunny. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds, moderate to fresh in the west and south in the morning.Thursday 19 AprilFine apart from possible isolated showers developing west of Fowlers Bay in the afternoon. No rainfall is expected for the period Monday morning through to midnight Thursday, apart from the chance of less than 1 mm west of Fowlers Bay on Thursday.Friday until SundayIsolated showers near southern coasts and in the west, extending to most districts on Saturday, then becoming confined to the agricultural area on Sunday. Warm to hot at first ahead of cooler southwesterly change in the west early Saturday extending eastwards to be throughout most districts by late Saturday or early Sunday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Monday.Product IDS10033
