Weather Situation A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea will move across New Zealand today. Another high pressure system will form south of the Bight today and will pass to the south of Victoria during Monday. This high will then strengthen to the southeast of Tasmania on Tuesday and Wednesday. Forecast for the rest of SundayFine after local early morning fog patches over the far northeast. A warm and mainly sunny day. Light to moderate north to northwesterly winds shifting milder southerly over the southwest late afternoon and evening.Fire Danger - High to Very High in central and western areas.Monday 16 AprilFine, warm and sunny over the north with light winds tending southerly. Cooler and partly cloudy in the south with patchy drizzle contracting eastwards during the day and a moderate southerly wind.Tuesday 17 AprilFine apart from isolated showers over Gippsland, mainly in the far east, and areas of morning fog. A mild to warm and mostly sunny day with generally light east to southeasterly winds.Wednesday 18 AprilFine apart from isolated showers in the far east and morning fog patches in the south.
