Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 14/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system is centred over the Tasman Sea and extends a ridge over South Australia through to next week. A weak trough moves over southern and western parts on Sunday.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayFine apart from possible isolated early morning showers in the east of the Northeast Pastoral. Warm to hot with moderate northeast to northwest winds, fresh at times in the west. Possible light afternoon sea breezes about central and western coasts.Sunday 15 AprilFine and mostly sunny. Warm to hot with light to moderate north to northwest winds, shifting southwesterly across the agricultural area and into the south of the Pastoral districts during the day.Monday 16 AprilEarly morning fog patches about the southern agricultural area, then fine and mostly sunny. Generally warm to hot with light to moderate southeast to easterly winds and afternoon sea breezes.Tuesday 17 AprilFine and mostly sunny. Warm to hot with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Saturday until midnight Tuesday are expected to be insignificant.Wednesday until FridayFine and warm to hot initially with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds. Winds shifting northwesterly ahead of a weakening change over coastal areas late next week resulting in possible isolated showers about the West Coast and southern agricultural areas. Moderate southwest to southeasterly winds following the change.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Saturday.Product IDS10033
