Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 13/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system centred over eastern New South Wales will move slowly eastward to be centred over the Tasman Sea by late Friday and will then move southward early next week. This high will extend a ridge over South Australia.
Forecast for the rest of FridayPatchy light rain developing over the far northeast. Fine elsewhere. Warm with light to moderate northeast to northwest winds.Saturday 14 AprilFine apart from possible isolated early showers in the far northeast. Warm to hot with light to moderate northeast to northwest winds turning southerly in the far west in the evening.Sunday 15 AprilFine. Warm to hot with light to moderate north to northwest winds, ahead of a moderate southwesterly change extending across the agricultural area and into the south of the Pastoral districts.Monday 16 AprilFine. Generally warm to hot with light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds and afternoon sea breezes. Cumulative rainfall totals from Friday morning until midnight Monday are expected to be less than 2 mm.Tuesday until ThursdayIsolated showers developing in the west on Thursday associated with the passage of a front, otherwise fine. Warm to hot with moderate northeast to northwest winds, fresh at times in the west, ahead of a milder southerly change in the west on Thursday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Friday.Product IDS10033
