Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 12/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over northeastern Victoria will move into the Tasman Sea on Friday and then towards New Zealand on Saturday. The high will maintain a ridge across Victoria on Sunday as a weak cold front slips southeast of Tasmania. Another high pressure system will develop near Tasmania on Monday.

Light north to northwesterly winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Friday 13 AprilFine apart from morning fog patches in the south and east and local early frost patches in the northeast. A mild to warm and sunny day with light north to northwesterly winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Fire Danger -  HIgh in the southwest. Low to moderate elsewhereSaturday 14 AprilFine apart from morning fog patches in Gippsland. Mainly sunny in the west, high cloud increasing over central and eastern districts. A warm day with light to moderate north to northwesterly winds and afternoon seabreezes along the Gippsland coastSunday 15 AprilFine apart from local morning fog patches over Gippsland. A warm and mainly sunny day apart from areas of high cloud in the east. Moderate north to northwesterly winds with afternoon coastal seabreezes.Monday 16 AprilFine.
