Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 11/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A strong high pressure system south of Adelaide extends a ridge over southern and western NSW and directs a fresh to strong southerly airflow over central and northern parts of the coast. The high will move slowly east over the next few days and be the dominant weather system affecting NSW, with generally fine weather expected across the state apart from isolated showers on the north coast and ranges.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayIsolated showers about central and northern parts of the coast and adjacent ranges, more widespread along the coast between Port Macquarie and Newcastle. Fine and mostly clear elsewhere. South to southeasterly winds, fresh and gusty about the northern coast.Thursday 12 AprilIsolated showers about central and northern parts of the coast and adjacent ranges. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Early fog and frost in the southeast. South to southeasterly winds, fresh on the north coast, tending light and variable across the southern inland.Friday 13 AprilIsolated showers about the northern coast and adjacent ranges. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Early fog patches in the east. Southeast to northeast winds.Saturday 14 AprilIsolated showers about the northern coast and adjacent ranges. Possible showers in the far northwest. Fine elsewhere. Early fog patches in the east. Northeast to northwest winds.Sunday 15 AprilIsolated showers about the northern coast and adjacent ranges.
