Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 11/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high 1036 hPa south of the Mt Gambier will move slowly northeastwards over the next few days to be centred over New South Wales on Thursday and the Tasman Sea on Saturday. A weak front will move over the far west later on Saturday and move eastwards during Sunday to reach the Northeast Pastoral in the evening.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayFine and clear. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds and afternoon sea breezes.Thursday 12 AprilFine apart from possible early frost patches over the Flinders, southern Northeast Pastoral and Upper South East and possible morning fog over Kangaroo Island. A mild to warm and sunny day with light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds and afternoon sea breezes.Friday 13 AprilIsolated showers developing over the far northeast. Fine elsewhere. Warm with light to moderate northeast to northwest winds.Saturday 14 AprilFine apart from possible isolated early showers in the far northeast. Warm to hot with light to moderate northeast to northwest winds turning southerly in the far west in the evening. Cumulative rainfall totals from Wednesday morning until midnight Saturday are expected to be less than 2 mm.Sunday 15 AprilFine. Warm to hot with light to moderate northerly winds becoming southerly in the far west during the afternoon and evening. Cumulative rainfall totals from Wednesday afternoon until midnight Sunday are expected to be less than 2 mm.Monday until WednesdayFine. Milder at first in the south, becoming warm to hot throughout later in the period. Moderate south to southeasterly winds becoming northeast to northwesterly during the period ahead of a milder southerly change in the far west later on Wednesday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Thursday.Product IDS10033
