Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 10/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system south of the Bight will continue moving slowly eastwards, passing over Victoria during Wednesday and Thursday, then moving towards New Zealand on Friday and Saturday.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayIsolated showers in the south, contracting to the coast this evening. Isolated snow showers above 1400 metres in the southeast at first this evening. Mostly cloudy in the south, generally clear in the north. Light to moderate south to southwesterly winds.Wednesday 11 AprilFine apart from isolated showers over East Gippsland and the central coast, clearing by mid-afternoon. Early frost patches inland, mainly in the northeast. A cool to mild day, mostly sunny in the north and partly cloudy in the south. Generally light south to southeasterly winds.Fire Danger -  Low to moderate.Thursday 12 AprilFine apart from morning fog patches. A mild and sunny day with light north to northwesterly winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Friday 13 AprilFine apart from morning fog patches in the south and east. A mild to warm and sunny day with light north to northwesterly winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Saturday 14 AprilFine apart from morning fog patches in Gippsland. A warm and mostly sunny day with light to moderate north to northwesterly winds and afternoon seabreezes near parts of the coast.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:00 am EST Wednesday.Product IDV10310
