Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 9/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system south of the Bight will move slowly eastwards and will be centred near southwestern Victoria by late Tuesday. The high will then move slowly across the State during Wednesday and Thursday, to be located over the Tasman Sea on Friday.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayIsolated showers over southern and mountain districts, scattered in the southeast at first, contracting to the coast by the evening. Snow above 1200m during the morning and early afternoon. Cool with early frost patches in the north and moderate to fresh south to southwesterly winds.Fire Danger -  Low to Moderate.Wednesday 11 AprilFine apart from isolated showers over East Gippsland and the central coast, clearing by the afternoon. Early frost, then generally mild and becoming sunny with light south to southeasterly winds.Thursday 12 AprilFine apart from morning fog patches. A mild and sunny day with light northeast to northwesterly winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Friday 13 AprilFine apart from morning fog patches in the south and east. A mild to warm and sunny day with light north to northwesterly winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EST Tuesday.Product IDV10310
