Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 6/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high to the southwest of the Bight will dominate the weather over South Australia for the week ahead. The high will slowly move to a position south of Adelaide by Tuesday night, then over Victoria on Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayFine apart from the slight chance of isolated light showers about southern and western coasts. Cool to mild in the south grading to warm in the far north. Light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Sunday 8 AprilIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area and near western coasts. Fine over the remainder. Cool to mild in the south grading to warm in the far north. Light to moderate southwest to southeast winds.Monday 9 AprilThe chance of isolated showers near southern coasts, clearing in the evening. Fine otherwise. Cool to mild with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Tuesday 10 AprilFine. Cool to mild with light to moderate southeasterly winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Saturday morning until midnight Tuesday are expected to be less than 2 mm, with local falls of 2 to 5 mm about southern coastal areas.Wednesday until FridayFine apart from the chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms in the far north on Thursday and Friday. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds. Mild conditions becoming warm in the north and west.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Saturday.Product IDS10033
