MELBOURNE - Apr 6/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A low south of Mount Gambier is moving steadily southeastwards. A high west of the Bight is slow moving and will be centred south of the Bight on Monday, and south of Mount Gambier later Tuesday. A weak front will move over the southeast of the State on Sunday. Forecast for the rest of FridayIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area. Isolated showers and possible thunderstorms over the east of the Northwest Pastoral district and the Northeast Pastoral district, contracting eastwards and clearing by late evening. Cool to mild with fresh southwest to south winds, strong near the coasts, but gradually easing during the evening.Saturday 7 AprilFine apart from the chance of isolated showers near southern and western coasts. Cool to mild in the south grading to warm in the far north. Light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Sunday 8 AprilIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area and near western coasts. Fine over the remainder. Cool to mild in the south grading to warm in the far north. Light to moderate southwest to southeast winds.Monday 9 AprilThe chance of isolated showers near southern coasts, clearing in the evening. Fine otherwise. Cool to mild with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Tuesday 10 AprilFine. Cool to mild with light to moderate southeasterly winds.
