Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 3/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A ridge of high pressure will move over the State during Wednesday and Thursday, with the next front expected to enter western Victoria Friday afternoon, reaching central districts during the evening. The front will clear eastern districts early Saturday as a stronger front crosses waters south of the Bight.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayFine apart from local morning fogs and isolated showers about the far eastern ranges during the afternoon. A warm and mostly sunny day with light winds and afternoon seabreezes near the coast.Fire Danger -  Low to moderateThursday 5 AprilFine apart from local morning fogs and isolated showers about the far eastern ranges during the afternoon. A warm to hot and mostly sunny day inland with light winds and milder afternoon seabreezes developing near the coast.Friday 6 AprilWarm to hot with a moderate to fresh northerly winds. Scattered showers entering western districts during the afternoon along with a cooler southwesterly change extending to central districts at night.Saturday 7 AprilScattered showers in the east at first. Isolated showers over remaining southern and mountain districts tending to contract to the coast during the afternoon.
