Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 2/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A trough of low pressure lies over Victoria and will move eastwards during Tuesday reaching the far east at night. A ridge of high pressure will move over the State during Wednesday and Thursday, with the next front expected to enter western Victoria Friday afternoon, reaching central districts at night.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayIsolated showers in the east contracting to the eastern ranges by the afternoon. Dry elsewhere apart from isolated showers over the southwest during the afternoon. A generally warm day, although milder in the southwest. Moderate to locally fresh northerly winds ahead of a cooler southwesterly change extending from the west.Fire Danger -  High in the northwest.Wednesday 4 AprilMorning fog patches in the south. Isolated showers about the eastern ranges in the afternoon. An otherwise fine, warm and mostly sunny day with light southerly winds and afternoon seabreezes near the coast.Thursday 5 AprilMorning fog patches in the south. Isolated showers about the eastern ranges during the afternoon and evening. An otherwise fine, warm to hot and mostly sunny day inland with light winds and milder afternoon seabreezes developing near the coast.Friday 6 AprilWarm to hot with a moderate to fresh northerly winds. Scattered showers entering western districts late afternoon along with a cooler southwesterly change extending to central districts at night.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EST Tuesday.Product IDV10310
