Weather Situation A high pressure system has moved east of Tasmania into the Tasman Sea. A cold front will reach southwest Victoria late today, then weaken as it moves eastwards across Victoria during Tuesday. A high pressure ridge will develop across Victoria on Wednesday and Thursday. Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated showers or drizzle patches in the southeast, contracting eastwards and clearing during the afternoon. Isolated showers developing in the southwest later. Local morning fog in the south. An otherwise fine, mild to warm and mostly sunny day with light winds tending moderate northerly, and afternoon seabreezes near the Gippsland coast.Fire Danger - High in the southwest. Low to moderate elsewhere.Tuesday 3 AprilIsolated showers developing in southern and mountain areas in the morning, then contracting eastward. Fine, warm to hot and mostly sunny in the north. Milder and mostly cloudy in the south. Light to moderate northwest to southwesterly winds and afternoon seabreezes near the coast.Wednesday 4 AprilMorning fog patches in the south. Isolated showers about the eastern ranges in the afternoon.
