Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 29/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A cold front will move into the far west this afternoon, reaching Eyre Peninsula in the evening. The front will continuing northeastwards into the North East Pastoral district later Saturday as a weak high develops over the Bight. The high will move to the east of Tasmania on Monday as a new front moves over ocean waters to the south.
Forecast for the rest of FridayFine apart from isolated early morning fog patches across the agricultural area. Warm to hot with light to moderate northerly winds freshening ahead of a milder southwesterly change moving over the west of the State during the afternoon and evening.Saturday 31 MarchPossible isolated showers about Kangaroo Island and the Lower South East. Fine elsewhere. Warm to hot with moderate northeast to northwesterly winds in the northeast ahead of a milder southwest to southerly change extending across the remainder.Sunday 1 AprilFine and partly cloudy. Mild in the south grading to hot in the far north. Moderate southwest to southeasterly winds extending throughout, tending westerly in the south.Monday 2 AprilPossible showers about the North West Pastoral and West Coast districts. Fine elsewhere. Moderate northerly winds, turning fresh west to southwest in the west from afternoon. Cumulative rainfall totals for the period Friday morning until midnight Monday are expected to be less than 2 to 3 mm.Tuesday until ThursdayIsolated showers are possible about the far northwest of the State at times. Isolated showers are expected about southern coastal districts on Tuesday, otherwise conditions will be fine, with temperatures grading from mild in the south to hot in the north.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Friday.Product IDS10033
