Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 28/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A weak, slow moving trough in the west will move over remaining western parts and southern parts of the state during today. A second trough will move over the west of the State on Friday, reaching the Northeast Pastoral district late Saturday.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayPossible early morning fog over Kangaroo Island and the Lower South East. Possible morning showers in the far west this morning and over Eyre Peninsula this afternoon. Isolated showers and the chance of thunderstorms developing on and east of the ranges during the afternoon. Warm to hot with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds turning north to northwesterly and freshening ahead of a milder southerly change in the west.Friday 30 MarchFine. Warm to hot with northeast to northwesterly winds ahead of a milder southwesterly change moving over the west of the state during the afternoon and evening.Saturday 31 MarchThe chance of isolated showers about southern coasts. Fine otherwise. Warm to hot with moderate northerly winds, ahead of a milder moderate to fresh southwest to southerly change extending throughout, apart from the Northeast Pastoral.Sunday 1 AprilFine. Mild in the south grading to hot in the far north. Generally southwest to southeasterly winds, tending westerly in the south. Cumulative rainfall totals for the period Thursday until midnight Sunday are expected to be quite patchy and less than 3 mm.Monday until WednesdayFine apart from the chance of isolated showers about southern coasts and ranges on Tuesday. High cloud increasing in the north. Cool in the south, grading to warm to hot further north.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Thursday.Product IDS10033
