Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 25/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high to the south of the Bight is expected to move eastward to a position over the Tasman Sea by late Monday. A weak, slow moving trough will move over the far west of the State late Tuesday, reaching central parts during Saturday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayFine. Light to moderate southwest to southeast winds.Monday 26 MarchFine apart from possible early morning fog patches over Eyre Peninsula and the South East. Mild to warm with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds and afternoon sea breezes.Tuesday 27 MarchIncreasing cloud and possible showers developing southwest of about Wudinna to Adelaide. Fine elsewhere. Mild to warm with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds.Wednesday 28 MarchCloudy with possible showers south of about Clare, clearing from the west during the morning and the remainder during the afternoon. Mild to warm with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds, fresh at times about the coasts, tending southerly in the far west.Thursday 29 MarchFine apart from possible isolated showers developing over Eyre Peninsula. Warm to hot with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds turning north to northwesterly and freshening in the west ahead of a milder southwesterly change. Cumulative rainfall totals for the period Sunday afternoon until midnight Thursday are expected to be up to 3 mm.Friday until SundayFine on Friday. Isolated showers developing about the southern agricultural area and West Coast district during Saturday associated with the passage of a trough. Warm to hot with northeast to northwesterly winds tending milder southwesterly in the west, extending over most parts later in the period.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Monday.Product IDS10033
