Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 24/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system centred south of the Bight is moving eastwards and will cross southern Victoria Sunday night and during Monday, reaching the Tasman Sea on Tuesday. A weak trough of low pressure will reach Victoria on Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayIsolated light showers in the north clearing early this evening. Isolated showers in the south, mainly near the coast. Light to moderate southwest to southerly wind.Sunday 25 MarchIsolated showers near the coast, clearing late afternoon or evening. A cool to mild and partly cloudy day, although sunny across much of the northeast. Generally light southerly winds.Fire Danger -  Low to ModerateMonday 26 MarchFine apart from morning fog patches. A mild and mostly sunny day over the north, but partly cloudy in the south and about the ranges. Light winds inland and seabreezes developing along the coastal fringe during the afternoon.Tuesday 27 MarchFine apart from morning fog patches. A mild day with patchy high cloud extending from the west. Light winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Wednesday 28 MarchIsolated showers developing over the east, but fine elsewhere. A generally mild and partly cloudy day with light winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:00 am EDT Sunday.Product IDV10310
