Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 24/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high to the south of the Bight is expected to move eastward to a position over the Tasman Sea by late Monday. A weak, slow moving trough will move over the far west of the state on Tuesday and remaining parts during Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayPartly cloudy with isolated showers about the agricultural area contracting to the coastal areas in the evening. Fine elsewhere. Moderate to fresh southwest to southeasterly winds.Sunday 25 MarchIsolated showers about the coasts and southern parts of the Mount Lofty Ranges. Fine elsewhere apart from isolated morning fog patches. Cool to mild in the south, warm in the north with generally moderate southwest to southeast winds.Monday 26 MarchFine apart from possible morning fog patches over the South East. Mild to warm with light to moderate southwest to southeast winds.Tuesday 27 MarchIncreasing cloud and possible showers developing over parts south of Adelaide to Ceduna. Fine elsewhere. Mild to warm with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds.Wednesday 28 MarchCloudy with possible showers south of about Clare, clearing from from the west during the morning and the remainder during the afternoon. Mild to warm with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds, fresh at times about the coasts. Cumulative rainfall totals for the period Saturday afternoon until midnight Wednesday are expected to be up to 3 mm.Thursday until SaturdayFine on Thursday. Isolated showers developing about the agricultural area and West Coast district during Friday and Saturday ,associated with the passage of a trough. Warm to hot with northeast to northwesterly winds tending southwesterly in the west, then extending throughout later in the period.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Sunday.Product IDS10033
