Weather Situation A low pressure trough will clear to the east today. A cold front on the eastern flank of an approaching high will move over the southeast on Thursday. The high will then move into the Bight for the weekend. Forecast for the rest of WednesdaySome patchy rain clearing from the east by late morning. The chance of showers developing over southern and western coasts during the afternoon and evening. Fine otherwise. Cool to mild, grading to warm to hot in the far northeast. Moderating southwest to southerly winds.Thursday 22 MarchIsolated showers about the southern agricultural area and the West Coast district, increasing to scattered over the far southeast during the evening. Cool to mild, warm in the far northeast. Moderate to fresh southwest to southerly winds, tending fresh westerly in the south and strengthening about the coast.Friday 23 MarchIsolated showers about the agricultural area and West Coast district, increasing to scattered over the far southeast in the early morning. Cool to mild, grading to warm in the far northeast. Fresh southwest to southerly winds, strong at times about southern coasts.Saturday 24 March Isolated showers about the agricultural area and West Coast district. Cool to mild with moderate to fresh southwest to southeasterly winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Wednesday morning until midnight Saturday are expected to be a further 2 to 5 mm about the southern agricultural area and the western coast, increasing to 5 to 10 mm over the Lower South East. Less than 2 mm elsewhere. Sunday until TuesdayIsolated light showers possible about southern coastal districts, becoming confined to Kangaroo Island and the Lower South East early in the period. Fine elsewhere.
