Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 17/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high centred near Victoria maintains a strengthening ridge over most of New South Wales. The ridge will linger over the state early next week as the high moves across the southern Tasman Sea. A trough is expected to move through the state during Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayThe chance of isolated showers on the coast and adjacent ranges, more likely over the far north coast. Mostly sunny west of Divide. South to southeasterly winds.Monday 19 MarchIsolated showers coast and adjacent ranges tending scattered near the north coast. Mostly sunny west of Divide. East to northeasterly winds.Tuesday 20 MarchMostly sunny west of Divide and partly cloudy on the far south coast. Isolated showers elsewhere tending scattered near the north coast. . Southeast to northeast winds.Wednesday 21 MarchIsolated showers in the southeast and on the northern half of the coast. Partly cloudy remainder. Northwest to northeast winds turning south to southwesterly in the west and southeast.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EDT Sunday.Product IDN10031
