Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 17/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high south of Kangaroo Island will move slowly southeastwards to be near Tasmania this evening and over the Tasman Sea on Monday. A trough will move across the state on Tuesday, reaching the Northeast Pastoral district on Wednesday. A cold front will move across southern parts of the State during Thursday and Friday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayFine apart from possible morning fog in the southeast. Cloud increasing in the west. Warm to hot with moderate to fresh southeast to northeasterly winds.Monday 19 MarchFine apart from patchy rain extending over the far west. Hot to very hot with moderate to fresh northeast to northerly winds.Tuesday 20 MarchAreas rain extending east to reach about Renmark to Coober Pedy by late evening. Generally hot to very hot with moderate to fresh northerly winds ahead of a milder, fresh southerly change extending from the west.Wednesday 21 March
Areas of rain easing to showers and extending into the Northeast Pastoral before clearing during the afternoon and evening. Isolated showers following the rain about the agricultural area and West Coast district. Mild with moderating southwest to southerly winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Sunday morning until midnight Wednesday are expected to be 5 to 20 mm over agricultural areas with falls of generally less than 5 mm elsewhere.
Thursday until SaturdayIsolated showers about agricultural area and the West Coast district, easing later in the period. Remaining cool to mild with moderate southwest to southeast winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Sunday.Product IDS10033
