MELBOURNE - Mar 17/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Tropical Cyclone WARNING is current for the eastern Gascoyne, far western
Interior and the far northern Goldfields.
Severe Weather Warning for the Goldfields.
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Broome to Whim Creek.
Flood Warning for the Pilbara coastal rivers, Upper Fortescue River Catchment,
De Grey River Catchment, North Kimberley Coastal River Catchments, West
Kimberley Region and Fitzroy River Catchment.
Flood Watch for the Ashburton River Catchment, the Gascoyne River Catchment and
the Goldfields district.
Fire Weather Warning for the Central West district.
Sheep farmers warning for the Central Wheat Belt, eastern Great Southern and
Southeast
Coastal district.
Forecast for Sunday
Northwest Kimberley: Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
Southeast Pilbara, east Gascoyne, west Interior, and Goldfields: Rain and
isolated squally thunderstorms with moderate to heavy falls and possible
flooding. Fresh to strong and gusty winds, reaching gale force with possible
damaging gusts in vicinity of Tropical Cyclone Lua.
Remaining east Pilbara, central Gascoyne, north and east Central Wheat Belt,
western Eucla, and eastern Central West, extending into the remainder of the
Central Wheat Belt, remainder of the Eucla, the eastern Great Southern, and
Southeast Coastal district in the afternoon and evening: Rain with moderate to
heavy falls. Fresh to strong and gusty winds.
Remaining areas of the Kimberley, and Interior: Isolated showers and
thunderstorms.
