Weather Situation A high 1023 hPa is centred over the Tasman Sea. A low pressure trough will reach the western border late Tuesday evening, then extend eastward to be near a line Kingscote to Coober Pedy midnight Wednesday and Leigh Creek to Oodnadatta midnight Thursday. An associated low over the Bight early Wednesday will move southeastwards. Forecast for the rest of MondayFine and mostly clear. Mild to warm with light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds and moderate to fresh coastal sea breezes until early evening.Tuesday 13 MarchEarly fog patches over Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula and Kangaroo Island. A fine and warm to hot day, with high cloud increasing from the west. Light to moderate northeast to northerly winds, freshening in the west and south during the morning.Wednesday 14 MarchIsolated showers and the chance of isolated thunderstorms developing over central and eastern parts of the State, with showers becoming scattered south of Leigh Creek in the afternoon. Warm to hot with moderate to fresh northeast to northwest winds, ahead of a milder moderate to fresh southwest to southerly change reaching a line Kingscote to Coober Pedy around midnight.Thursday 15 MarchScattered showers and the chance of isolated thunderstorms in the morning over eastern parts of the agricultural area, tending to patchy rain in the afternoon. Isolated showers and the chance of isolated afternoon thunderstorms in the far northeast. Patchy rain elsewhere. Mild to warm, grading to hot in the far northeast. Moderate to fresh northerly winds in the east, ahead of a moderate to fresh southerly change reaching Leigh Creek to Oodnadatta around midnight.Friday 16 March Patchy rain over most districts contracting to the Flinders and south of the Northeast Pastoral during the afternoon and clearing. The chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms in the far northeast. Mild to warm with moderate to fresh south to southeast winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Monday afternoon until midnight Friday are expected to be 2 to 10 mm over Eastern Eyre Peninsula, the agricultural area east of Spencer Gulf, the Flinders district and far south of the Pastorals. Up to 2 mm elsewhere. Saturday until MondayPatchy rain northwest of Coober Pedy to Nullarbor. Fine elsewhere.
