Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 10/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high south of the Bight will move slowly southeastward to be centred southeast of Tasmania later on Monday, and near New Zealand on Wednesday. A low pressure trough will move over the far west late Tuesday evening, then extend eastwards over western parts during Wednesday, with a low pressure system forming over waters to the south of the State during the day.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayFine and clear. Cool to mild evening with light to moderate south to southeasterly winds.Sunday 11 MarchEarly fog patches over the agricultural area and West Coast, otherwise fine with some high cloud extending from the west. Cool to cold early over the agricultural area. A mild to warm day in the south grading to warm to hot in the north and west. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds and moderate to fresh afternoon coastal sea breezes.Monday 12 MarchFine and mostly sunny. Hot in the north and west but warm elsewhere. Light to moderate east to northeasterly winds and moderate afternoon coastal sea breezes.Tuesday 13 MarchFine and warm to hot. Light to moderate northeast to northerly winds freshening in the west and south during the morning ahead of a fresh southerly change in the far west late evening.Wednesday 14 MarchIsolated showers developing in the west after midday, then extending over the southern agricultural area late afternoon or evening. Warm to hot with moderate to fresh northeast to northwest winds ahead of a milder southerly change in the far west early extending east, reaching a line near Adelaide to Whyalla late evening as a southwest to west change. Cumulative rainfall totals from Saturday afternoon to midnight Tuesday are expected to be nil, and then on Wednesday less then 1 mm is possible over the West Coast, Eyre Peninsula and remainder of the southern agricultural area.Thursday until SaturdayIsolated showers developing on Thursday over most districts, becoming patchy rain on Friday and Saturday. Mostly mild to warm with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Sunday.Product IDS10033
