Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 9/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A weak trough will move over southern coasts during Friday then a high will become established south of the Bight. This high will move slowly southeastward to be centred southeast of Tasmania later on Monday. A low pressure trough will move over the far southwest during Tuesday evening.
Forecast for the rest of FridayPossible isolated light showers developing about the Lower South East and Kangaroo Island. Mild to warm. Light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds. Moderate to fresh coastal sea breezes easing early evening.Saturday 10 MarchIsolated early fog about the agricultural area. Possible isolated light morning showers south of about Tumby Bay to Aldinga to Bordertown. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Mild to warm with light to moderate southeasterly winds and moderate to fresh afternoon coastal sea breezes.Sunday 11 MarchFine and mostly sunny. Mild to warm in the south grading to warm to hot in the north. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds and moderate to fresh afternoon coastal sea breezes.Monday 12 MarchFine and mostly sunny. Hot in the north and west but warm elsewhere. Light to moderate east to northeasterly winds and moderate afternoon coastal sea breezes.Tuesday 13 MarchFine and warm to hot. Light to moderate northeast to northerly winds freshening in the west during the morning ahead of a fresh southerly change in the far southwest during the evening. Cumulative rainfall totals from Friday afternoon to midnight Tuesday are expected to be less then 1 mm south of about Tumby Bay to Aldinga to Bordertown.Wednesday until FridayIsolated showers developing over the agricultural area and southern pastoral districts during Wednesday then extending over remaining parts, apart from the far northeast, during Thursday and Friday. Warm to hot with moderate to fresh northeast to northwest winds ahead of a milder southerly change extending over all but the far northeast.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Saturday.Product IDS10033
