Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 8/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
Complex low pressure system off the NSW south coast is expected to move slowly south during Friday as a high pressure system in the Bight extends a ridge across NSW. This high will move slowly east over the next few days and direct a relatively dry and stable airmass over NSW.
Forecast for the rest of FridayIsolated relatively light showers in the southeast, though more widespread about the far southern ranges for much of the day. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. A warm day though cooler in the southeast. Moderate southwest winds, locally fresh in the southeast, tending southeasterly near the coast during the afternoon.Saturday 10 MarchIsolated light showers near the coast and adjacent ranges in the north, otherwise partly cloudy. South to southwest winds.Sunday 11 MarchIsolated light showers near the coast and adjacent ranges, otherwise partly cloudy. Southeast to southwest winds.Monday 12 MarchIsolated showers near the coast and adjacent ranges, otherwise partly cloudy.
