MELBOURNE - Mar 8/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A weak trough will move over southern coasts during Friday then a high will become established south of the Bight by late Friday. This high will move slowly southeastward to be centred southeast of Tasmania later on Monday. Forecast for the rest of FridayIsolated early fog about southern coastal districts. Possible isolated light showers developing about southern coasts late afternoon. Mild to warm. Light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds and moderate to fresh afternoon coastal sea breezes.Saturday 10 MarchPossible isolated light morning showers about southern coasts, otherwise fine and mostly sunny. Mild to warm with light to moderate southeasterly winds and moderate to fresh afternoon coastal sea breezes.Sunday 11 MarchFine and mostly sunny. Warm to hot with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds and moderate to fresh afternoon sea breezes.Monday 12 MarchFine and mostly sunny. Hot in the west but mild to warm elsewhere. Light to moderate east to northeasterly winds and moderate afternoon sea breezes. Cumulative rainfall totals from Friday morning to midnight Monday are expected to be less then 1 mm about southern coasts.Tuesday until ThursdayFine at first. Isolated showers developing over the agricultural and southern pastoral districts later Wednesday then extending over remaining parts during Thursday.
