Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 8/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low pressure trough over the western Tasman Sea will move eastwards on Friday as a high pressure system develops in the Bight and extends a ridge across NSW. This high will dominate the state's weather through into early next week as it directs a relatively dry and stable airmass over NSW.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayScattered showers along the southern coast and adjacent ranges, easing later. Fine remainder. Southeast to southwesterly winds. Dangerous surf conditions along the central coast.Friday 9 MarchLight showers in the southeast, mainly near the Victorian border, clearing through the day. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Mainly southeast to southwesterly winds.Saturday 10 MarchIsolated light showers near the coast and adjacent ranges in the north, otherwise partly cloudy. South to southwest winds.Sunday 11 MarchIsolated light showers near the coast and adjacent ranges, otherwise partly cloudy. Southeast to southwest winds.Monday 12 MarchIsolated showers near the coast and adjacent ranges, otherwise partly cloudy.
