MELBOURNE - Mar 5/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high 1028 hPa south of the Bight is moving southeastwards and strengthening to be 1038 hPa over the southern Tasman Sea on Wednesday. A new high will ridge in south of the Bight on Friday. Forecast for the rest of TuesdayIsolated light showers about southern coasts and ranges, clearing early evening. Mild with moderate to fresh southeast winds.Wednesday 7 MarchFine and mostly sunny. Mild to warm with moderate southeast to easterly winds, fresh at times. Afternoon coastal sea breezes.Thursday 8 MarchFine and mostly sunny. Mild to warm. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds and afternoon coastal sea breezes.Friday 9 MarchFine and mostly sunny. Mild to warm. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds and afternoon coastal sea breezes. Cumulative rainfall totals from Tuesday morning to midnight Friday are expected to be up to 2 mm over southern coasts and ranges.Saturday until MondayConditions are expected to remain fine apart from possible shower activity about the far north of the State on Sunday and Monday. Light showers are also possible about the Lower South East coast.
