Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 12/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system near Tasmania will move very slowly eastwards over the next few days. A trough of low pressure will enter the west of the State on Monday then gradually extend towards the northeast by Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayFine apart from possible isolate light showers about southern coasts. Cool to mild. Mainly moderate south to southeast winds and fresh early evening sea breezes.Monday 13 FebruaryIsolated early morning drizzle about southern coasts of Kangaroo Island. Possible early morning fog patches in the southeast. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Warm to hot with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds, fresh at times in the far west ahead of a moderate to fresh southwesterly change. Fresh afternoon sea breezes.Tuesday 14 FebruaryCloud increasing from the west with possible isolated thundery showers developing during the afternoon and evening. Fine in the north and east. Warm to hot with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds, fresh at times in the west ahead of a southwesterly change that is expected to be near Streaky Bay to Port Lincoln late evening.Wednesday 15 FebruaryIsolated thundery showers moving over agricultural area during the day. Fine in the north and east. Hot with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds. Milder, moderate to fresh southwesterly winds in the west extending over agricultural areas by late evening.Thursday 16 February
Isolated showers over the agricultural area gradually contracting to southern coasts during the day. Hot in the northeast with light to moderate northeasterly winds. Mild over agricultural areas and southern Pastoral districts with mainly moderate south to southeasterly winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Sunday afternoon until midnight Thursday are expected to be less than 2 mm.
Friday until SundayIsolated showers clearing from southern coasts early in the period, then fine throughout during the weekend. Mild to warm days with mainly moderate southeasterly winds and afternoon coastal sea breezes.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Monday.Product IDS10033
